WAMP CRA Authentication and protecting static files

#1

Hi,

I use WAMP CRA Authentication with dynamic credentials to authenticate users against a database and Crossbar sits behind Nginx that proxypasses everything.

I would like to protect static files (images, html, css, js) with basic auth but I can’t seem to find a solution that allows the user to enter credentials ONCE. Currently I first need credentials to ‘satisfy’ the basic auth and then same credentials again to authenticate with WAMP CRA.

Any suggestion?

Thanks,

Raffaele

There is no way of protecting static web stuff with Crossbar.io today

WAMP-CRA is for WAMP only, not for HTTP.

If you need to protect static Web stuff, I’d recommend a full blown Web server like Nginx.
