Thanks,

Stefan.

Tobias,

To get the AutobahnAndroid artifact into the maven central repository you should use the facilities offered by oss.sonatype.org.

https://docs.sonatype.org/display/Repository/Sonatype+OSS+Maven+Repository+Usage+Guide

That should help you understand how to get the artifact and all associated metadata up to oss.sonatype.org, once you are happy with it, you can request that your artifacts be synced to Maven Central http://repo.maven.org/

FYI, sonatype.org is run by many Apache Maven committer and PMC members, they do a great job in helping out the open source community.

Hi Joakim,

thanks for your explanations/hints!

I am mostly hovering in other languages, so I'm not so accustomed to the J-way of things;)

Anyway, I'll get back to it
https://github.com/tavendo/AutobahnAndroid/issues/16

Thanks,
Tobias

I may try handling that…

Can you point me the location of source control system?

Thanks,

S.

can you please do the following:

move java source files from /src to /src/main/java

(it’s the standard maven directory for java sources - don’t know if that helps them or not but if they require it we’ll have to do it)

also if they require a pom.xml to be built i may help you with that also.

Thanks,

S.

Small update: I’ve created a ticket on their jira here:

Well, from what I understand the existing directory structure conforms
to Android/ADT standards and works with Eclipse.

Changing the structure might have the implication of another dependency:

http://rgladwell.github.com/m2e-android/

for Eclipse/ADT. I am not sure I like that. Why do they require a fixed
structure? Anyway.

You can give it a try: fork the repo, install the m2e/eclipse plugin,
convert the project ..

well… the purpose of having a specific structure stands behind this reason: once you know maven, you spend 0 time in switching from one project to another (because of the learning curve - all mavenized projects are the same). But as it brakes another dependency… well maven is flexible enough to deal with that. So maybe we shouldn’t touch it for now and bend maven around this project.

It seems to me like no more action has been taken to Maven-ize the AutobahnAndroid library, so I went ahead and did so. See pull request 27 : https://github.com/tavendo/AutobahnAndroid/pull/27

I hope this helps to get the library published in a Maven repository at last…?

Cool .. thanks! Just merged.

last...?

Could you give me a hint where and how to publish?

I have signed up and commented on

https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/OSSRH-4155

but what now?
