Is port 8080 needed?

#1

When the reactor is started, I am starting it on port 8080 (like the examples). I played around with different ports, and it didn’t really seem to make a difference when connecting from a web socket client. My web socket client is connecting on port 9000. So, what is the port 8080 for? I see that it is a standard web service, I can connect to it and it serves files. Is this needed for the web socket functionality? If not, how can I shut down listening on port 8080? I just wonder if I am missing something?
Thanks,

No, it's not needed. The example just start a "normal" web server also to make the JS/HTML based access work out of the box. Completeness.
But you dont need it for WebSocket.

You can just delete those lines, e.g.

L59-L61

Done.
