How cookie authentication remember user?

#1

Hello,
I am trying to understand cookie authentication example. On first connection from new browser there is challenge authentication and after refreshing or opening new tab user is still authenticated. I wonder how router remember user session if there is no cookie or data in local storage on client-side?

Regards,
Andrew

Correct.

I doesn't.

When cookies are disabled in the browser, the session obviously cannot be authenticated using cookies.

I have cookies enabled and router remembers me, but Chrome shows there is any cookie: https://i.snag.gy/pGuXnY.jpg
