Disable/change HTTP page

#1

Is there any way to change the default page that appears when accessing the Websockets port through the browser?

I looked at the docs but couldn’t find anything.

Thanks!

Hi Pedro,

Is there any way to change the default page that appears when accessing
the Websockets port through the browser?
I looked at the docs but couldn't find anything.

You can enable/disable it by setting:

WebSocketServerFactory.setSessionParameters(webStatus = False)

https://autobahnpython.readthedocs.org/en/latest/websocketserver.html#factory

Probably you did know that already;)

So _changing_ the rendered page: override

WebSocketServerProtocol.sendServerStatus

https://github.com/tavendo/AutobahnPython/blob/master/autobahn/autobahn/websocket.py#L3509

Note that this is not part of the "official" (= supported to be stable) API - yet.

We should probably have something in the "official" API - but for now, you can do it as above ..

Hope this helps,
/Tobias
