AutoBahn Testsuit is not working for Safari browser

#1

Hello,

I'm trying to compare results between different browser and came along
that Safari won't run and say "Test Finishes" right away once I click
the start test button.

is this a known issue?

Thanks

Hi,

I got updated to a new version (for Windows 7), I believe it was yesterday, and all the websocket stuff which used to work stopped working. I haven’t started Safari for a while (I moved over to the nightly builds for testing), so I don’t know for how long websockets aren’t working for me. Maybe they dropped support for it, since they were using the old, insecure version. It’s just a guess.

The test suite does indeed work with most recent Safari (WebKit
Nightly) - the one that implements RFC6455.

For results, have a look at

http://autobahn.ws/testsuite/reports/clients/index.html

AutobahnPython itself also supports older Safari's which only
implement Hixie-76 .. but there is no support for those in the test
suite.
